Welcome to the Library Media Center!

Extra help is available on Tues. and Thurs. morning by appointment.

I love reading!  I remember reading Dr. Seuss books with my mother as an emergent reader and discovering Beverly Cleary in 4th grade.  I love to find new and interesting ways to incorporate technology skills into our learning.

In the Library Media Center, students are always active and engaged.  Whether we are reading great books, learning computer programs & typing, developing information literacy skills, or working on group projects, we are a hub of learning!

Current Units of Instruction:

K –   After reading a series of books on healthy habits, we moved to books on growth mindset and keeping our brains sharp.

1st – We researched baby animals and created a ChatterPix using our notes. We are moving to insect research next.

2nd-  Ecosystems are interesting to read about using online and print materials. After taking notes, we will make a Google Slide presentation.

3rd-  We read Queen of the Falls and will research waterfalls. Then we will read about some remarkable women.

4th-  Make sure to print your National Parks pass and ask your 4th grader which park they researched.
