Welcome to the Library Media Center!

Extra help is available on Tues. and Thurs. morning by appointment.

I love reading!  I remember reading Dr. Seuss books with my mother as an emergent reader and becoming an independent reader when I discovered Beverly Cleary in 4th grade.  I love to find new and interesting ways to incorporate technology skills into our learning.

In the Library Media Center, students are always active and engaged.  Whether we are reading great books, learning computer programs & typing, developing information literacy skills, or working on group projects, we are a hub of learning!

Current Units of Instruction:

K –   Focus is on making connections between texts, currently using books by Loren Long.

1st – Our current author study is on Aaron Reynold's books. We love his books!

2nd-  Second grade is doing an amazing job researching dinosaurs in Pebble Go and creating a Google Slides presentation.

3rd-   We read Those Rebels, John & Tom and extended our learning into researching and presenting important American documents.

4th-  After reading Ben Franklin's Big Splash, we chose an inventor or scientist to research and create an infographic.
